Biography
Yanqing Low (b.1985, Singapore) is a Southeast Asian artist whose artwork explores figuration, abstraction, and materials as embodied experience. Through the application of gesture and space in her process and compositions, she contemplates our current state of being as it becomes increasingly detached from bodily sensation and existence.

She graduated in 2023 with a Masters in Fine Art from the New York Academy of Art where she was the recipient of the Academy Scholar Award and the Rick & Monica Segal Scholarship. Yanqing’s works are part of private collections in America and Singapore, and have been internationally showcased in publications and exhibitions. Notably, she was recently featured in ‘Eye-to-Eye,’ a group exhibition at the New York Academy of Art, and ‘Metamorphosis’ at the Living Gallery in Bushwick.
