Jochen Mühlenbrink German , 1980

German artist Jochen Mühlenbrink lives and works in both Germany and the Netherlands. Recognised for his trompe l’oeil techniques, Mühlenbrink takes a philosophical approach to painting, leaving his audience questioning what is real. In the years of 2001 to 2007, he studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and graduated as a master's student under German artist Markus Lüpertz.

Exhibiting internationally since 2007, he has held numerous solo shows across Europe, in North America and Asia.
