LAH! Stories from the Neighbourhood: Aisha Rosli, Casey Tan, Dian Suci, Faris Heizer, Iqi Qoror, Prabu Perdana, Ruth Marbun, Shen Jiaqi
Cuturi Gallery is proud to present LAH! Stories from the Neighbourhood, a transnational group exhibition held in collaboration with Artsphere Gallery (Jakarta). Curated by esteemed art historian and curator Farah Wardani, the exhibition brings together eight contemporary artists, all under 40 years of age, from neighbouring countries—Singapore and Indonesia, exploring how geography, identity, and shared generational anxieties shape artistic practices across national boundaries.
This exhibition text draws in part on Farah Wardani’s essay ‘Lah! Stories from the Neighbourhood’
