Funds raised from the event will be used to provide creative arts therapy for children, families and seniors in Singapore.
A fundraising charity art exhibition will be held at Thye Hong Centre from Apr 28 to 30, featuring 35 works by Singaporean artists.
The art pieces were donated by around 25 Singaporean artists, including Han Sai Por, Genevieve Chua, Boo Sze Yang and Milenko Prvacki.
Visitors to the free event can view or purchase the artworks, with funds going to provide creative arts therapy programmes for children, families and seniors in Singapore, especially the less privileged.
The event is arranged by non-profit organisation and registered charity The Red Pencil, which partners with all health-related institutions to incorporate arts therapy into their existing psycho-social programmes.
The Red Pencil hopes to instil hope and empowerment through creative arts therapy for vulnerable children, adults, families and communities facing overwhelming life circumstances. PHOTO CREDIT: THE RED PENCIL
The full catalogue of artwork featured at the exhibition is available on The Red Pencil’s website. Those interested in supporting the charity can also donate on its Giving SG website.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 12pm to 6pm on all three days of the event.
