Abu Dhabi Art 2023: Hubert le Gall and Khairulddin Wahab

Cuturi Gallery proudly presents its debut presentation at Abu Dhabi Art 2023, featuring the works of Singaporean painter Khairulddin Wahab (b. 1990) and internationally acclaimed French artist-designer Hubert Le Gall (b. 1961).

 

Wahab's art draws inspiration from anthropology, environmental history, and post colonialism, offering a re-enchanted view of the natural world that transcends the scientific and utilitarian. Le Gall infuses sophistication and playfulness into his surrealistic pieces, challenging traditional boundaries of functionality and existing as "in-between objects" that straddle sculpture and decor.

 

Together, the poetic works of both artists rekindle enchantment in a world beyond reality, embracing the magical and whimsical.
